The Romont region boasts a wealth of luminous surprises. Historical and modern stained-glass windows adorn many buildings spread over magnificent scenery.

Since the Middle Ages, pilgrims have gone to Berlens to implore the miraculous Virgin. The chapel stands on Romanesque foundations and was rebuilt in the 14th century.

During restoration work, the famous sculpture of Jesus suffering on the cross, venerated at Grangettes since the end of the Middle Ages, was transported into the building.

The Gothic church in Romont has many stained-glass windows; the oldest date back to the beginning of the 14th century, while others date from the 16th, The 19th century is present in the chevet.

Restored in 1996, the church of the Cistercian monastery Fille-Dieu once again has its original 13th -14th century volumes. It was endowed with contemporary non-figurative stained-glass windows by the British artist Brian Clarke.
